With such a powerful song, the emotion was easy to draw out from the actors and performers. The real challenge here was balancing everything to fit the tempo of the song while still maintaining the desired abstract aesthetics. I think of all the videos I did with Better Noise, this is my favorite to go back and watch. I butted heads with the director about the pacing of the storyline throughout the piece, but in the end he was right about exactly where the climax of the story needed to happen, which led me to reedit the first half of the video to build up to that moment effectively.
