Part of the Greater Goods Fitness line up, a series of 36 SKUs that our team had to commercialize simultaneous with coordinated copy, photos, video, and support materials. This was a humongous undertaking for our 5-person group, and necessitated much more producing than our normal projects. We hired models, built set pieces, trained ourselves on new motion control camera rigs, the whole shebang. It took us three whole months when all was said and done. For the exercise ball video, the first edit I tackled for the lineup we went through almost 20 versions trying to get the vibe right. My main goal was to include all the available colors in the video and, more importantly, to transition between all of them as seamlessly as possible. The tracking shot at the end was also pretty difficult; we built this gigantic fort of reflectors and flags to get the reflection on the exercise balls looking just right.
