It's the simpler products that always tend to throw me for the biggest loops, and the sous vide container was no exception. I brainstormed for two or three full days and still found myself unhappy with what I had on the page. It was a classic case of overthinking. After stepping away for a day or so, I came back to it and had what ended up being the final storyboard in around an hour. I really really like the subtle warp effect on the text that the lid covers up in the shot about 12 seconds in, the result of me just messing around with masks and distortion maps in After Effects, but a pretty convincing effect if you ask me!
