By far one of my favorite Greater Goods product videos. Myself and our creative director took it upon ourselves to really up the ante for set design, using the versatility of the bags as a guiding force for what areas we wanted to put together. The match cuts at the beginning and thunder/lightning shot I'm particularly proud of. The match cut on the items dropping was a lucky coincidence; our original plan was to have them be still and we were just dropping items into frame to make it look natural, but loved how it looked in slo-mo so we had to keep it. The thunderstorm was a classic case of doing whatever it took to get the shot. We drilled holes in a plastic bin and filled it with water to make the rain, and used a strobe effect on the lights. When it came time to shoot, all hands were full except mine, so I got to make one of my few on-camera appearances as the arm grabbing the bag out of the rain.
