I love messing with new formats, so when my pitch for an ultrawide sous vide video got accepted, I was elated to start working on it! ...And then realized the challenge in putting such a tall product in such a wide video. The slot-machine style aesthetic was my solution, and I think it worked out! I really liked the production challenge of splitting the video into thirds and finding the best way to progress and reveal each shot.
