My senior thesis project, which myself and my creative partner Christopher Mitchell worked on for 18 months in our junior and senior years. We knew we wanted a cinematic, VFX-driven short film, and did our best to bring the story to life. We wrote the script together over 9 months (it's uploaded here if you want to read!), crewed up with 30 people, filmed the entire thing, and then got blindsided by the pandemic, which threw our entire post-production into disarray. Instead of working with campus equipment and support, our team had to scale down and use our own (less powerful) computers. Because of this, I think the final product shows more cracks in the presentation than we had hoped for, but I'm still proud of how it turned out. My roles on this project when everything was said and done were co-writing, directing, co-editing, lead VFX artist, and some additional producing.
