I took a directing class my senior year of college to prepare for directing my senior thesis film, Internalize, the first project of which was to make a self portrait piece that was less than a minute long. My girlfriend at the time (now wife) had just moved to Spain for a year to teach, so I was a little lonely and watching old sitcoms while I worked on stuff, which sparked the idea for this video. I got singers to come in, recorded and mixed the music track, and filmed it all in about a day. I love how this turned out, but my teacher, who I think was expecting projects a little more serious in tone, had a different opinion.
